# Self-hosting

Self-hosting is not a generally supported path today. We focus our engineering effort on the hosted instance at [docent.transluce.org](https://docent.transluce.org), which covers most users.

## If you're evaluating Docent

The fastest way to try Docent is the hosted instance. See [Installation](/installation).
